Well, their presenter skills are certainly alot better than their filming. Both Kevin and Phillipe has natural presence in front of the camera, and in combination with their unique personality traits they come accross as a charming badboy and funloving good boy. The editing was a bit rough, particularly on Kevin and Phillipe`s selfwritten scene. Had they used two computers to film the scene (instead of just one), or had they, afterwards, dry repeated all the sexual positions while filming from a different angle, then the editor could have mixed the two shots - creating the illusion the scene was shot with two cameras, it would also make the shifts smoother. I noticed for the cumshot, postproduction had zoomed in on it, such postproduction zooms could off course have been used to smooth out shifts for the whole scene - if the editor had been patient and creative. The scene in the shower, and Phillipe in the pool, were the best scenes in this, as I see it. The shower scene win thanks to authenticity, charm and feel good factor. But the pool scene would have been tougher to contend with, if the focus hadn`t been all over the place. Shifting from Phillipe to Ariel to Phillipe and back to Ariel - and in one frame even Kevin was there, to help Phillipe out of the water. It shifted so much back and forth we lost track of what was the story in this scene. A) Phillipe fooling horseing around by the pool? B) Ariel being caught at an awkward moment? C) An interaction between Phillipe and Aiel. If the intention was the latter, we came in too late in the scene, since we didn`t learn anything of the events leading up to Ariel being called crazy by Phillipe. If the purpose of the scene was to display Phillipe horseing around near the pool, Ariel`s little "contribution" stole too much of the attention away from Phillipe for us to get a full impression of Phillipe`s little show. And the caught in an awkward moment scenario, doesn`t work either, since Phillipe is alot more disrobed than Ariel. So no mater how you look at it - that scene just doesn`t work. But, if the cameraman/director had ordered Phillipe back in the pool - so he could shoot the scene of him climbing out again from various angles and distances, so the editor later could mix it with the authentic footage of the actual situation, making it appear the scene was shot with several cameras. The same order should have been given to Ariel, who should make that exact trip as in the original situation, several times, untill there was enough footage for the full scene to be editied toghether smoothly. That way the two situations (Phillipe horseing around in and out of the pool naked, and Ariel`s little woody performance) could be edited together - either as seperate episodes, or as an interaction between Ariel and Phillipe. For the last segment, Phillipe alone in the bathroom, more focus on the power of suggestion could have made the scene alooooot hotter. Instead of being naked from the start, he should appear fullu clothed, then inform us of the others being busy with homework, before mentioning the alone time part. And when he did, he should start taking his clothes off - in normal slow tempo - whilst talking. This will grab the attention of the viewer alot more. And if he had inserted a few surprises (like pretending to have lost something, and walk around, naked - or nearly naked - in front of the camera pretending to look for it, bending down and similar) attention would build up even further, and so forth. But one thing both Phillipe alone, and together with Kevin in the first scenes managed very well. The footage was nicely framed and balanced - Phillipe had put the camera where he would be in centre on the toilet. And he had Kevin had framed themselves just as spot on, when operating between the two beds for their sex scene. Not to mention that the light was bright and nice too. And their presenter skills and personalities alone worth 5 stars, add to that a cool hat worn by Ariel - and I have to give them 5 stars. As long as they learn you can never have to much fottage, they could turn out to be mighty good filmmakers one day.
