Today is special for us as the official introduction of Mick Lovell, our first American exclusive (we have been presenting them a little out of order as we wanted to keep Mick as a Christmas present for you). The footage was shot by Johan Paulik during our visit to Sydney's Mardi Gras this year and the following little tour around New South Wales. Mick comes to us from pretty much the middle of the US and we knew straight away on seeing his casting photos that we wanted to have him as part of the team.

Nice to Kris again. He's becoming less boyish, increasingly manly, but as hot as ever. Dolph brings his usual charm and professionalism to every shoot. Mick, although very good-looking and despite the praise from others, strikes me as a bit of a hustler, a type that turns me off. (Of all the Americans BA has recently featured, it was actually Spencer that I enjoyed the most.) Also: I have to agree with those below who find the smoking distasteful. Besides the fact that few things are more disgusting than smoker's breath, I find smoking to be very unmasculine. I associate masculinity with strength; I associate smoking (and addiction) with weakness. Big, big turn-off! If some of my favorite BA guys smoke, I prefer not to know it.

So much beauty in one place!!!! Mick may be the most beautiful man/boy I have ever seen. I don't think he needs makeup! I wish you guys would edit out scenes with the guys smoking. I know it is the norm for Middle Europe, but I would say the majority of your American members would find it distracts from the sexy image. Only one disappointing aspect, the rest is superb. Why spoil the show with two of the guys smoking in the opening part? There are few things worse than kissing a guy who has been smoking (unless both guys have been smoking) - UGH. But aside from that teeny downer, the preview of hot Mick is darned good. Interesting to see that he appears to not be shaved and trimmed to death. Hope he can stay that way.

Couldn't agree more with fixxed as Mick is the first American model to really meet the Belami golden boy standard! Butt what a tease of an intro. I know we got a joyful and more revealing intro briefly with that other and quite regrettable American attempt tempting. There we saw Mick's great balls and impressive girth!! When will we have a full-on action video with Mick and one of our fave Belami Euros? Can you make that a special Christmas gift to we hereby salivating viewers? Ever Hopeful!!

I've complained about every American model this year and my complaint was always that there were so many really beautiful Americans so why did we keep getting offered sub standard models. FINALLY a truly gorgeous American model. Should have offered him first. Then you wouldn't have had to waste your models, like Dolph, on mediocre scenes with these sub standard models.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Mick has all the pinnings of becoming my new favorite! This kid is exactly the type to fit in with the beauties of Bel Ami. After every other American model for BA shown unworthy of inclusion, here comes Mick who is an absolute beauty and fuckin' HOTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!! I can't wait to see this boi in action. By far, the best looking American model so far. He seems very sure of himself in front of the camera, a very sexy boy. I will put him in my favorite lineup...Kevin, Jack, Adam and then Mick. Please feed him to Kevin, that will give Mick an outstanding kickoff (not that he needs much help). I have a feeling Mick knows his way around a dick quite well. Photo #30 is one of the best face shots I have ever seen, nice job Luke. Mick looks so adorable with his hair wet n wild. This will be a great Christmas.

Very interesting look of this first US Belami signing (and what a mistake to save him untill last. I believe there would have been significantly fewer objections and doubts towards/about the American models if he had been the first one out?), he has the headshape of Aussie soap actor (Home and Away) David Jones Roberts, a little bit of a Zac Effron smile, certain facial resemblences to both Kevin Zegers and Michael Pitt and even a little gothish Adam Lambert over him. An interesting look indeed - particularly since he looks to be born to be in front of a camera. Both in stills and video he comes accross very well - and with a camera presence well beyond most newcommers - and quite a few experienced models too. Kris Evans physique looks as good as at his former best - but he could learn alot about camera presence and comming accross to the audience from his new US colleague - or Dolph. Eventhough this is far from the best I have seen the latter. Perhaps this was shoot reasonably soon after arriving in Oz, cause both he and Kris looked jet laged? Yet they managed to do a decent set of posings, despite Luke`s snapping being a little slower than what is ideal from a model`s point of view, since he - in his eager to get the sharpest pictures, with the right light, shutter speed etc - his adjustments seem to take so long, the models had trouble maintaining their focus and energy. If photographing a vase, or some other dead object, you can adjust the settings and arrange the lights untill it is perfect - but with models the most important thing is captureing the moment. But that will come with practice, when he can operate the camera totally without looking at any knobs and switches, and just by touch and feel adjust it just the way he wants it. All in all, I`m pretty pleased with both models and photographer - but the editor... Oh, dear. Is he allergic to smooth transitions, or something? I have seldom seen more abrupt and random editing than here. Camera focus went from a line up of penises to a zoom shot of a cow - and from Mick and Kris getting up from the terrace, to the camera focusing on JD Chagall, and he telling us he is in charge of the light - which was fairly obvious, cause we had seen him with a reflector several times prior - and Johan Paulik asking him what he thought about the set. The latter a little malplaced, sice the shoot was nearing it`s end at the time. Such a question would be more natural in the begining of the video, as part of the build up to the event, and same goes for the zoom shot of the cow and JD`s line about liking the house, but he would go mad if he lived there on his own. Just because it was said near the end of the shoot, that doesn`t mean it cant be edited out and brought into the story earlier in the video. And if Johan, instead of switching focus to JD at that moment when Kris and Mick got up from the terrace floor, had held the focus on the two models, we would have gotten a proper documentary moment of what they did immediately after the shoot was over. Cause as poorly edited as this was, this wasn`t worthy of the name documentary - this was more a photosession video with a few additional comments. But I would still have given it 5 stars, if I could. Mick, Harris, Dolph and Kris deserves as much.
